First Father's Day

We woke up with cuddle schmuddles...

Took Daddy to Pizza Luce for brunch which filled our souls with wonderful music and our bellies with scrumptious biscuts and gravy...

Then to Lester River for a beautiful hike and a dip in the river...

Daddy carried me in the Ergo (thanks again Auntie Kam, Uncle Nick and Archer)...

The water was cool on my toes...

But with Daddy holding my hands, I knew it was all okay...

Momma and Charlie got to come along too...

To look and the big beautiful water falls...

And do some more hiking...

I recently had my first overnight away from my girl. It was definitely hard, but managable thanks to Daddy! He is so incredibly wonderful with our little girl, and so great at keeping Momma up to date with text messages, emails, photos, phone calls and this priceless "good morning momma" video...

Auti-Cado's

Autumn loved her Avacado's!!!

Not 1 but 2!!!

TEETH! Autumn started showing signs of teething a while ago and about two weeks ago we found her first bottom tooth coming in! Then last week we found her little tooth had a little friend! Here is a photo of Auti drooling up a storm :)

Motherhood is Bliss

Now I know Mother's Day was a while ago, but I am just getting around to posting these... I was spoiled rotten with a beautiful Sunday drive up the shore with the two best people on the planet - John and Autumn. I was gifted an hour massage with hot stones at Waters Meet Spa in Lutsen! When I came out, John and Autumn had beautiful flowers for me. Then we went for a short walk before a nice drive back, only to stop at our FAVORITE place to eat - the Scenic Cafe! That wasn't it... I got two wonderful cards and a beautiful star necklace with a georgous agate inside! I am not only one spoiled Momma, but as I now reflect back on this day, a proud one as well. I am the luckiest woman on the planet.

Good Eats

So our girl has been eating solids for a couple weeks now. Here are a few photo's of her first time! Here Autumn enjoys some sweet potatos and tonight we are having carrots!

6 Months (I know a bit late)

So our little lady is now almost 7 months, but our dear friend Kayla took these beautiful photo's of Autumn for her "6 month photos". I am finally getting around to putting them up and I hope you enjoy these as much as we do! Our girl is growing up...

Eyes Wide Open

It’s 10 p.m. on Saturday night and my girl is sleeping like a log. After a long week of busy days, I certainly should be too. However, I can’t. As I lie in bed and stare at my beautiful baby girl and look over at how peacefully asleep John is, I can’t stop thinking about how lucky I am.

On a daily basis I get bogged down in the stress of things, whether its work, the house or just the fact that there doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day to get the things done that I would like to. However, I also seem to find at least moment daily to be thankful. On this night, the moments just won’t stop coming.

I have the most amazing little girl on the planet, who loves her Momma so much it is unmistakable. The reason I have this amazing little person in my life, is because of the love that started with her Daddy. I am so incredibly lucky that the universe brought John and I together when it did and that God blessed us with a baby, our girl, Autumn.

Old Man

My bear is 7 and 1/2 years old already and definitely slowing down. He will soon have to keep up with a crawling and later walking baby who will steal his toys right from under his nose. Then eventually throw his ball and frisbee for him! Charlie is such a good boy and is such an important part of our family. We look forward to Autumn's big brother leading the way on family hikes for years to come!

Friendship

How do a 5 and 1/2 and 8 month old express their friendship? Well they explore eachother...

Sometimes this means clawing at eachothers faces...

Then realizing that may not be pleasant for the friend being clawed, they instead try planting a giant kiss on thier friends face!

Ah...the joys of friendship! And so it begins...

Sunday Chillaxin

Autumn and Daddy take a Sunday afternoon snooze in Gramma Sandy's recliner. We will soon say goodbye to this wonderful piece of furniture, and may need to replace it someday with one just like it in our new home (HOPEFULLY soon!).
